As stated in the title, what can I do with this hardware? This is really a dumb question, but is this only a controller for MIDI software? What I want is something I can program (say some piano arpeggios, or strings, or lay down a drum or bass track). Will this do any of that? If not, what will? I'm a little confused as to what recording with MIDI is like. I understand the principles of MIDI, just not the application of it.
The software I have is Cubase LE and Garage Band (I don't know if the latter is of any use in this instance or not).
