ok im in a real pickle.

I just bought a m-audio nrv10 firewire mixer to add to my setup, i currently have a Focusrite Saffire soundcard installed (also firewire)

i run windows xp 64 edition and after some searching i have just found a BETA driver for the nrv10 that supposedly works on x64.

rather than go into the firewire port on the pc with the nrv10 i wanted to go into the spare port on the saffire and use the effects and eq on the mixer then return it back to the saffire and record it via adobe audition.
Is this possible?

i havent installed the pc drivers as im scared something might happen to the saffire, i didnt think this one through at all. but i want to use them in unison if possible.
if i install the nrv10 directly to the pc i think it may try and over ride my saffire as the interface which is not what i want.

the instructions for the nrv10 beta driver is daunting take a look..

how can i work them both together?

any help would be soooo good i dont want to risk anything here having spent a fair bit of cash.
