M-Audio MobilePre - Cannot Record

I just got a new MobilePre USB and hooked it up. Setup went smoothly, but I am having problems recording.

I hooked up my cassette deck to the line inputs and could hear it through the headphone jack on the unit. My recording software (Adobe Audition 1.0) did not pick it up.

I hooked up my microphone to the XLR input and could hear it fine through the headphones. When I tried to record to my software, the playback is very low.

Any ideas?

If you have set up the USB interface correctly it should show up as an input option in your Adobe Audition, and there should be a volume control there. This should solve both your line input (cassette deck) problem and your microphone problem.
