I’m new to digital recording. I still know how to use my dad’s Teac reel-to-reel! Anyway, I have a Mac with Garageband 3. I have a dynamic mic that I want to record guitar/vocals with, and I am looking at the M-Audio Fast Track Pro (not the regular Fast Track) for its XLR inputs and pre-amp. Anyway, I want to make sure that it will work properly together with Garageband, and I have heard something about the Mac recording at 44.1 Khz and the M-Audio interface may sample at 48 Khz. Perhaps it can be set at 44.1, as well? Anybody currently using the Fast Track Pro with Garageband and have any experience with this issue, or non-issue? Thanks!!
