Wtf is a PRS
Any words of advice on this reviews yays or nays?

i have a few things id like to know about this ... before i buy it and make sure its worth it.

I know it says that its for guitars keyboards and mics and stuff like that but could i also use it to get pre-recorded drumtracks off another mobile device ..
that device being and old Roland VS880EX??
 
I'll bump this because I too, am interested, and I saw that it's on Amazon for 170$ (down from the retail of 250)
 
The Fasttrack Pro is the only M-Audio Product I have had an issue with. I bought one to use with my iBook G4 and I was getting unrelenting clicks and pops and the problem ended up being unsolvable. M-Audio tech support said that they very very rarely have problems with it and macs, and they couln't figure it out either. I ended up taking it back to CompUSA.

However outside of that weirdness, it was beautiful. You could easily use it to take tracks from a differnt device, provided you have the cords and adapters.
 
I also had a problem on my Mac with it. when my computer woke from sleep, nothing connected to USB would work. I tried downloading the most up to date drivers and had the same problem. also returned to CompUSA. I'm staying away from M-Audio interfaces.
