Bought a Duet half a year ago, I had it crap out on me a couple weeks after getting it. I sent it for repair and after waiting for 3 months I finally decide to phone in to see what was taking so long. Turns out they never received my interface so I complained and got an Apogee Duet 2 for free. Of course the 3 months without the interface was right smack over my summer break so all of my important recording projects were pushed back into my school semester.
But wait... I got an Apogee Duet 2 for free?
Yes, but it is the most incompatible piece of equipment I have ever used. Maestro 2 never recognizes the device when I boot up my Mac, so I'm constantly left restarting and reinstalling drivers whenever I want to use the Duet 2.
Moral of the story, Apogee sells me broken products and incompatible drivers!
Looks like I'm going back to my PC and M-Audio Fast Track combo!!
