M Audio Delta 66 or Delta 1010LT?

Which one do you guys recommend?

Cheers

No regrets with the 1010LT. More gazintaz, more goezoutaz + midi.

Bank for the buck, it's hard to look past the LT.

Those 4 extra inputs and a pair of pre will come in handy.

You could even make up your own breakout box if you really feel you need one

I´m pleased with the LT, great for the price, and now it´s lower. I paid 300 bucks, don´t hesitate go for it.

LT looking good then! Want a breakout box though, will have to make one unless you can buy them?

for $220 more...

you can get the 1010 with a rackmount box with all the inputs in back (I think the preamped mic inputs are in front)

I don't know what else competes in this price range, but if the breakout box is essential, you might weigh the $220 vs. time & effort of building your own.

The 1010lt and the 1010 are completely different products! The 1010lt has no breakout box, but has preamps for microphones. The 1010 contains the breakout box, but only has 8 analog LINE LEVEL I/Os (and 2 channel digital I/O). If you don't know the difference between the two, you should spend some more time researching before you buy anything.

If you go with the Delta1010LT, get a patch panel. Wire up all the i/o's and you're set. Still cheaper than the 1010 and a bargain with lots of bang for the buck.

Great advice punkin

I've been waiting to hear the solution to having to pull the computer out of the desk each time we want to hook up to the 1010lt. That's been what's keeping me from getting it. Shows how much of a newbie I am. Anyway, are you familiar with a patch bay that can accommodate all of the ins and outs of the 1010lt? I'll check, but just in case....

You can pick a patch panel up at Guitar Center. It's been my experience that if you shop around, you can pick them up on line for a better price.

looks like only 2 mic inputs?!!!!

i dont understand the 1010lt....it looks like it only has 2 mic inputs...what do people do about micing a drum set...are you using a bunch of crazy adapters...2 convert xlr mic cables to 1/4 inch and 1.8 inch jacks.?!! whats up

You need a mixer/preamps to drive the other 6 non-preamped rca inputs

ohhhh, i thought the 1010lt had 8 rca inputs PLUS two preamps. i didn't realize that the "8 analog inputs" include both rca and preamp inputs.
