M audio and win 2K...

ok i have a audiophile 24/96
and just got a delta 44 last night
for 200 bux from samash!
dont ask me how even the manager was confused
it was a huge fiasco
but they had to sell it to me at the price written on the ticket

lol

anyway
previously i just had my 24/96 and the echo mia
i had the ever so often problem of the clicking with my M-audio
even when changing bufers in XP

now im still using 98se
but i hate that it crashes all the time and the os is just getting old

i want to go to win 2K

but will i have the pops and clicks with 2K if i had them in XP
becasue im using 2 Maudio products now

any advice would be great

I recommend using the WDM drivers for the Delta. (not MME or ASIO) I ran a Delta 44 on W2K and XP Pro for a long while and never had probelms once I picked the right driver/bit-rate combination.

P.S. 200 bucks isn't exactly a steal on a 44... you can get em for that price all day at GC, and usually a couple bucks less on eBay. (185 or so).
