M 520 for sale in Cleveland

I personally like the sounds of the M-300 series better than the M-500, but the M-500 has 8-busses, 4 auxes and that neat-o 8-channel balance amp section...and the M-520 is more adept at fronting a 16-track machine...And nit that the M-500 sounds "bad" or anything...just preferential to the M-300.

The M-300 series, 4-buss "limitations" aside, is better setup for small venue FOH as well as recording...more of a true dual-purpose board.

That's pretty much how I feel. I use the direct outs to record from anyway. I like the idea of 16 returns. Even tho I am running PT, I still use it more or less like an ATR.

I still haven't pulled the trigger. I have so much other stuff going on. I guess I'm afraid if I DID buy it, it would sit for a year b4 it gets installed. For all I know, it could be gone by now.

My 300 was the FOH board for a band called Sponge, before I got it, iirc.
