Lynx Two B for mixing 7.1 surround sound?

I was reading the Lynx Two PDF info file from Lynx's website, and they mention that the Lynx Two B is an "ideal choice for mixing and post-production, including 5.1 and 7.1 surround sound". The "B" model is the 2-in, 6-out version.

I can see how mixing (and monitoring) can be done in 5.1, but how could someone use 6 outs for 7 channels of audio?

Who's missing something here, me or them?

I was also just looking at the SRS VST...don't like it. But here it is anyway.

They now have a rear-center channel. Seems like over-kill to me, but for cinematic production, it may be more useful.

3 - Front Right
4 - Back Left
5 - Back Center
