Sometimes you just have to get lucky and score two DX-4D noise reduction units for 50 bucks. Auction lasted only one day and they listed DX-40 instead of DX-4D, that may very well be the reason noone else jumped onto it. Since I have a Tascam 34B lying/standing around, I just had to buy those. One would have been enough, but it's always nice to have a spare. I've seen them going for EUR 80.00 each... People are crazy here in Germany...
