I record by myself alot and I always get annoyed because the cord on my LRC (little remote control) is so short. Is there anyway to buy an extension for this or make one? Just a thought, someone let me know.

Just pick-up a 20' or 25' stereo headphone extension cord (i.e., 1/4" stereo male on one end and 1/4" stereo female on the other end). I used one for years with my Adats, and now am using it with the HD24.

It doesn't need to be a TRS 1/4" -- standard TS 1/4" will do just fine.......

This is true. What I did at my place is to wire the LRC through a 1/4" normalled jack that was mounted in the wall in my studio. When I'm working by myself I take a second LRC (I have multiple ADATs so I have multiple LRCs) into the jack which takes over from the one at the console. Note: you have to power down the ADATs before you plug in the second LRC or the machines will run away.

cool

Cool i wish i would have known this sooner lol. I have a few headphone extension cables laying around that i hardly ever use. Thanks for the info guys
