My Mother-In-Laws neighbor just passed away, and her kids came over to ask if she had use for an old organ so she called me and asked if I wanted it. Of course I said yes, It's free!!! Turns out this thing is a Lowery Genie from 1970 with Dual Manuals and Pedalboard with original bench and everything. In mint friggin condition (It was in an old folks home).

Anyone know anything about this thing. There really is very little info on it. Anyone know where I can find a pic. I've looked all over the web. Seems like this thing is fairly rare, and what few I've seen in auctions seem to be fairly expensive (Except the Single Manuals which seem to go quite a bit cheaper, but the ones I have seen have all been 80's models). I won't be able to get to her house until the weekend as she lives out of state, but I can't wait to see what it looks like.

I don't have personal knowledge of this organ, but the information I found wasn't too complimentary towards this model. Sounds like it was very overpriced and poorly built.

I found a thread in a musicplayer.com forum discussing it HERE, though they might be talking about the single manual version.

I also found a source for a service manual HERE.

But, hey, it's FREEEEEE!!!! If you have the room, I'd go for it!

Yeah I came across those articles in searches too. I talked to her tonight and it has all the original documentation. I believe those guys were talking about the Genies of the 80's (I could be wrong). I've seen the list prices on them new and they ranged from $6000-$25,000. I know my Yamaha MR-1 was like $4000 new in 1983, and I'd be lucky to get $200 for it now (But I love cheesy old gear so I'll keep it forever).
This one seems is a 1970 ICG (which utilized IC Dividers, all the other Genies were Digital). I'm going to get it tomorrow afternoon. She said it had a rotating speaker, and I know some of them did have integrated Leslies. I'll let you all know how it sounds when I get it (Probably post some pics too, as they are few and far on the web).

Just got it. This thing might just be the "Reigning King of Cheese". It has 1 or 2 tones in it that sound pretty cool dressed up with some modern FX, and Reverb.
