Hey everyone,
I'm new to recording and want to set up a little home recording studio. It's going to be me recording one or two tracks by myself on guitar, bass, vocals, and perhaps a bit of keyboard.
Right now I'm comparing sound cards. The following were recommended and i'm wondering if someone can point me to the major differences in terms of functionality and sound quality..
Audiophile 2496
Emu 0404
Emu 1212M
I don't need to be able to record any more than 2 tracks at a time - it will mostly be just one anyway. I just need something that will give me good quality, low latency, low noise, and midi capability. If someone can recommend something else in the $100-200 range, i'd be glad to investigate that as well.
