I fought with the verse 1 vocals for a while but finally left them as they were with their flaws.
I had a lot of trouble with mixing the chorus vocals too, not sure if I ended up with the best option or not.

ooo, nice chorus melody. the phasey-doubled thing sounds great. the watery issue from a track or two ago is gone, but I hear the consistency in your tracks. you certainly have a style/sound, and you do it very well. some of the phrases in the chorus drop a little low in volume. the center part of the bridge vocal is too loud, as is the last part of that section. the bridge would sit better with more volume control in the vocal there.

Isn't it all samples mostly? Still, that's creative to piece that together into songs.

I don't hear anything wrong with the mix. Everything is sitting perfectly.

On my headphones, vocals sounded a bit loud in places. I agree with the comment some vocal riding would help it sit better. I agree with the others, nice little tune with a good original sound.

Do you compress the whole track or the individual items? I was noticing that when the first chorus ended, the drums seemed to get louder.
I agree that the lead vox in the chorus could come up.
Overall, this is mostly nitpicking tho. You've got a distinct style that shouldn't really be shoe-horned into "what's normal", and the mix is pretty good for that.

This is great. Quite unsettling melody and lyrics! The odd word gets lost here and there, but fixable. I would push up the chorus vocal a dB. Otherwise it's ace as is.

DM60: This is good feedback because for some reason I wasn't hearing the problem with the volume in the vocals.
VomithatSteve: I think what you are hearing is that usually when I am programming the drums, the verse and the chorus will be two different regions. So I set the volumes separately for each reason. I usually just compress the vocals since the rest is programmed samples.

and don't forget the bridge lines. the back and forth section. two or three jump out, as necessary, but by a little too much. listen again. you'll hear it.

This has a strong vibe. I dig it. The chorus is very cool. I like the beat too - very powerful. I like the dynamic texture changes too.

I feel like maybe 1 little more detail could be added to the ending but I don't know what. 1 extra instrument or effect to make it feel final.
