Hello all! First post!
I recently did a vocal cover of No Leaf Clover by downloading the instrumental karaoke version off of YouTube and moving it into Pro Tools. Mainly I wanted to mess around with my own vocals and see if I could get a good sound out as well as obtaining the Metallica sound.
I had a lot of fun doing this and I REALLY like the softer parts BUT....
I canNOT get a good sound out of the louder parts. Although I am pretty loud during the louder/grittier parts of that song, they feel a little weak and off.
Any No Leaf Clover fans that have any ideas for mixing technique during the louder parts? By recording standards I am extremely amateur.
Really appreciate it!
