Lost in IRAQ

I actually played drums on this one! Just something I fooled around with.

I used a roland v-club electronic kit on the "Tabula" patch. I then recorded 3 bass parts; one low and two different piccolo parts. The piccolo basses are the ones tapping the harmonics.


This is more of a general mood song kinda background ambiance.

One thing interesting to note about the MR-8 is that when using the built in delay, it is GREATLY exaggerated through the headphone monitoring since the delay hardly came out on my final mix when I moved the wav. files to my PC. Enjoy!

Song is called "lost in IRAQ", just reminds me of the monotony of walking in the desert with nothing in sight for miles, kinda like how this song drags on and on.......:)

Hi mate
i could picture that wee theme lurkin along in the background in a movie or something.
Sounded more of an egyptian thing to me.
