Losing Contact with Layla

Hi there,
I just got SX version 1.03

Everything is running pretty smoothly except that I have now twice gotten a message that says something like "Cubase has lost contact with the soundcard". Then audio playback ceases even though cubase is still playing. Any ideas?

Are you running any other applications at the same time? I receive the same error whenever I have WinAmp or other mp3 players running while Cubase is still open. It completely removes my Layla setup until I close out of WinAmp...

No other apps running...good to know that someone else has seen this...I might dig in and see if anything is running in the background...I don't think so as I am EXTREMELY anal retentive about setting up my OS. Thanks for the help.

Found the problem...I hadn't set cubase to the Echo WDM drivers...all good now. Thanks
