Hey!

I just finished a little tune... It's Fruity Loops drums, Lined bass, Lined (Roland GP-100) + Miced guitar (Roland, Marshall 8004, Marshall 2x12, Shure sm57)...

Speach is ripped from the ol' Blizzard North Game: Diablo1.

sounds good. For some reason it reminds me of Megadeath. I still say you should send it to the makers to use it on something, I would get a kick out of it. Tell them it's a speech mod!

That sounds great. Real tight. Nice effects. The only thing I don't like is the snare sound. What I want to hear there is a deep snare with longer reverb. Something more powerful and bigger. But that's just my opinion. everything else is great, especially the guitar stuff.
 
I could have sword I heard it, but I think I'm hallucinating...

@0:25, there's a harmonic in there that sounds like a "bridge-sweep," (you know, behind the bridge for that "twink-twink-twink" sound)... Thought it'd be cool if there was one of those (subliminally put in) every two or four repeats...

Oh, and the guys at work are gonna love it. Seems all second shift does is play Diablo, I'll make sure they hear it...

Now do something better for TRIBES. lol... (Diablo SUCKS)

p.s.: I agree about the snare, but how many of us actually go back and change this shit after we've posted? Yeah, that's what I thought... lol...
 
hehe.. that tone is just from bad palm-muting, and that I never gated any of the guitars..

yeah... 1.47.. gotta use that Floyd Rose sometimes...

About the snare... I like it... well... it's not perfect.. but it's not gonna be changed into a 80's metal-snare... ;-)

I loved the guitars, but you might want to bring the lead up a little more. The song would go great in a 'Mortal Combat' movie. Great job!
 
As for the mix, it sound nice. Very powerful. The words sounded pretty demonic.

I think the kick should be heard louder.

i LOVE this song. is it possible that we can work on a song together? i do rock/rap and it sounds like this kinda. is it possible that i can send you a wav file or mp3 of a song i would like for you to play on? the song would be great for a video game(my brother says it fits DARK REIGN) BUT I WANT TO PUT IT ON THE ALBUM. LET ME KNOW IF YOUR INTERESTED.

yep you can play guitar. what i can do is this. send you an mp3 or wave of the osng and let you record your parts and send it back ot me. or i can send you a cd have you extract it and go from that point. we can do this several ways. do you have an email i can contact you at?

Like a "Spawn" kind of vibe..... nice clean mix! Growling guitars, loop drums kick ass. i gotta learn how to do this...... much better and quicker, i imagine, than trying to program this into a typical drum machine.....
i don't know exactly how the loops work, but it seems pretty wide open, with excellent samples......

really nice vocal effects, very deep and eq'd well....
3:08 is cool, guitar effects are excellently used.....

i think i need to go to church now, and wash my hands...... ;)
 
The drums are all made in Fruity Loops. I need to make them a bit more varied, but that's a later question.
