I don't recommend or condone using any "cracked" versions of CoolEdit. It's a great company, and they deserve our support.
HOWEVER - If you HAPPEN to have a "less than unique" serial number for your CEP, stay away from "Loopology.com." While you're downloading free loops, the site scans your hard drive, and it will DELETE your CEP program if there is evidence that your version is "unauthorized."
I happen to own a copy of the software, but I also had a cracked copy that I used briefly to decide if I wanted to purchase it. "Loopology.com" deleted all my CEP software.
Anyway, just a head's up from a troll...
The moderator can easily figure out what my other username is, but I don't think this post should be deleted. I'm not saying anything about HOW to obtain cracked software, and I'm certainly not recommending it...if for no other reason, the support from Syntrillium is excellent. But if somebody has invested a significant amount of time creating specialized EQ settings, reverb settings, etc... something like having a LEGITIMATE copy of CEP deleted from your hard drive without warning can be kind of devastating.
