Hope this isn't only an 840 ex option but......
to get things to loop on my VS 840 ex
look under track copy pick track to copy enter time
then (same screen) enter the number of copies you want and copy to same track
and undo until you get the right flow
Maybe the metronome will help there
Whats good is the memory on the track time will be there after undo so you can shave some time off till you have found rythmic heaven
it's a crazy machine and stay away from the compresion it only makes mud for this newbee
