Whenever I try to loop a particular part on the VS-880, there's always a pause before it loops again. I know I put the markers excatly where their supposed to be..what gives? thanks for the replies...
The Loop function on the VSxxx series is not designed to loop recorded data the same way an application like Acid does. It is designed to be used when overdubbing a part where you would want to do multiple takes until you get a performance you like. I use it in conjuction with AutoPunch when I am working on guitar solos, or working on the initial idea at least. I will set my Loop points 1 measure ahead of and behind my actual Punch-in points. After I have recorded a part, the section will loop so i can hear the results. If I don't like it, I'll Undo what I recorded and start the process over.
If you want to create musical loops, you'll need to use the Copy function, either phrase or track. Hope this helps. www.mp3.com/screamsophie
