Looking to buy an amp.

Hi all.

I have a pair of Electro-Voice Sentry 100A monitors. I have never owned a pair of passive monitors so I am having trouble selecting a good amp for them.

So far I have been thinking about getting a Marantz 250 but haven't been able to score one yet.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on different amps that I should look into as well.

What is this for, home stereo, studio? Back when I had unpowered monitors I used a Crest power amp, I believe it was the FA-901. Lots of power, I barely had to turn the volume up at all!

I notice that EV also makes amps. One of their own amps might be a good match for the speakers.
