I am 16 and got into djing about a year ago and found out i have a talent for rhyming as much as my fellow juniors do. We are going to start makin cd's. im askng how to transform my closet (walk in closet) into a recording booth, very spacshious. enough to stand and basicly spin aroun with your arms spread out. i know i got to sound proof it. i just dont know where to but the sound board or duct board, any better cheap material then that also, any suggestions or sites that will tell me how to do this. thank you, suggestions please.

You're probably looking at a 6'x6'x8' space, which is going to be tough to record in. It's going to be small and boxy-sounding no matter what you do because...well, because it is in fact a small box. If you really want to go ahead with this, then you'll want to get as many 2" panels as possible into that space, including the ceiling. Make them from Owens Corning 703 or 6# mineral wool covered in fabric. No too tough and not too expensive.
