Looking for suggestions on a new computer.

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my studio on the PC front. I ask for help because i've heard of people having problems with the rme fireface 800 and am looking to avoid them if possible. I use Sonar, reason and quite a fewf plug ins all at once, so i'm pretty sure i'm in for an investment here if i want everything to run smoothly. Just hoping soemone with a fireface or that has used one can help steer me away from issues.

Where?? Seriously, If you can't get a Fireface800 to work on something, you won't be able to get anything to work on it. Its the most compatable unit on the market. Ive tested laptops that barely hold firewire signal that the FF800 works on.
 
Thanks a ton for the responses guys. I'm considering everything and just trying to keep myself from any troubles.

Hard2Hear - What scared me was a friend who had a computer much nicer then mine was having trouble with it. Then i made the mistake of reading their forums and seeing some people complain about it. I think I may of psyched myself out a bit on this one.
