Looking for some feedback on my Classic Rock mix.

The first 1:30 of guitar is pretty bright. The vocals are kinda distorted or something. I'm not sure but it sounds like the compressor is working overtime. Good rocking tune and the mix reminds me of a lo-fi Neil Young tune...

Chiming to overly bright intro - & that's from a chiming to over bright junkie.
The growling bass sounds a bit out of place.
Yep, too much compression or something: things seems a little weird.

Too much compression?
But we didn't use a single compressor in this project... haha.

I'll agree with being bright though.

We mastered this song today. I'll post the update soon, you guys can check it out and hit me back.

There seemed to be times when it got louder/softer in the intro specifically, that is what I thought might be caused by a pumping compressor. I'm no pro though! Waiting for the master.... :D

The panned acoustics are pretty cool but they get a bit out of sync at times. There's something weird about that electric guitar, sounds like it's DI'd or something. Good song though, I agree it's kinda Neil Young-esque

It's true, the player wasn't completely consistent with his takes, but I think that contributes to the "vintage rock" sound.
He's not 100% on, but he's also really not all that off. Does some cool stuff to the stereo field.
Gonna post that master quite soon here!

The long awaited master!

I'm really curious to hear what you guys think of the mastered version.
Please, all comments are welcomed.
