Looking for lyrics writer

Hi everyone!

I am composing Pop / Rock songs (melody is the most important part for me) but what I'm not got at is writing lyrics.

Since I am not a native english speaker (I live in Austria) but want to write english lyrics it's not that easy.

I'm planning to do a demo-CD of my tracks but they are lacking good lyrics (I just have some "supporting" lyrics to sing something).

If anyone is interested in helping me out ('though I cannot pay you anything, but - of course - if it gets released sometime that's another story), please let me know via bernd.podhradsky@podosoft.net or this forum here.

Here’s my stuff, have a listen and see if you like it - the first 2 are instrumentals which isn't a very good sell for a lyricists, so skip them.

I like collaborating, co-creating and not condescending.

I listened to a couple of songs on your site. They sound pretty good. Why are you looking for a lyricist. Your lyrics sound ok to me. Do you want a tweak or a re-write or something?

Do you have a work in progress with some ideas you want fleshed out? Please be more specific if you honestly want help.

Xeries you missed the irony or maybe it was sarcasm? It just struck as obtuse when someone is simply asking for help to tout your 'world class recognition'. It was not very constructive of me and I apologies.

Gee, I missed the part where I said I was "world class" at anything. I alluded to the fact that I have collaborated with people from France, England, The Netherlands, Germany, Austrailia, Spain and many of the United States. Sorry, no Hong Kong. You're pretty good at twisting someone's words. Let me guess, you're a lawyer, right?

No but I come from a family of lawyers - no I'm a teacher. So the combination of growing up in an intellectually combative household and telling people what to do all day does not make for the best at times.

I was on the tight end of a 'bad hair day' and I took unnecessary exception to your post. I see from your rep points that you obviously do far more good on this forum than I do.
