People have been talking about ruts and writers block so I thought I’d throw a couple of sites I go to for inspiration
Brian Eno’s Oblique Stratergies
http://music.hyperreal.org/artists/brian_eno/oblique/oblique.html
When you don’t know what to do next you pick a card and see if the directions on the card help or if you don’t like the first keep picking till you get one that works.
TED.com is just a collection of people speaking about all sorts of things for about 7.5 minutes – science, art, society – its all there in bite size pieces. It great for getting phrases you can turn into lyrics
http://www.ted.com/
If you are more of a visual person then this part of Flickr (the photo sharing site) might work for you
http://www.flickr.com/explore/
Please contribute the sites that help you get the creativity going
