Ya know, the price of a human life being as cheap as it is in Asia, I could probably buy a little chinaman with a good ear and lotsa tone for 5 bucks. I'll connect a 6ft piece of 1/2" flex tube to his ear and sing thru him! With pecise cane usage, I can adjust his tone and volume. All in one mic, comp, and amp package! Lookout Mr. Microphone...the Evil Empire has a new corner in the market!

check condenser mikes at pawn shops!
I bought a used AT857OM for$5.00 at a pawn shop. They were asking $59.00 for it. I asked the salesman to check to see if it worked. He plugged ot into a guitar amp with an adaptor, when it didn't work he said he would take $5 for it so I bought it . It is a podium style condenser mike. I wonder if it can be used for anything?

You shoulod be ashamed of yourself taking advantage of a complete moron at a pawn shop that way. When you want to convince someone somethings broken do it on a big ticket Item. I got me a digital synth for 50.00 that way. I just found a patch that didnt work and told him that I could probly fix it.
