Looking for feedback

The genre is not my forte but it sounds like a good mix IMO. the break at ~ 2 min sounds good. vocals sound good too for being scratch..
 
Nah, it's too brittle. The high end hurts. Listen to the strong note on the vocal.
 
The whole thing is a bit on the bright side; the cymbals particularly.
Mix sounds ok.

For me the vocals are fine. It's hard to describe what I'm hearing, or more specifically not hearing. The low end is there, I can hear it, I just can't feel it. Not through cans, not through my monitors on blast, it's just not hitting me. The low end sounds hollow and plasticky. No punch. Like the whole thing is mid scooped. It's all super lows and super highs. The bass and kick are there, but they seem empty. The highs seem exagerrated.
 
The mix sounds ok, but the arrangement sounds strange. It's like the song is hollow. The aren't enough mids. There doesn't seem to be any doubling of the vocals and no synths, piano, etc to fill out the mids. The mid scooped guitars aren't helping either. I think adding a synth, vocal harmonies, or alternate guitar parts would help get rid of that hole in the middle of the mix.

Like I said, the bass and vox are scratch tracks at this point. I have a pretty big issue with one aspect of the song, and since nobody touched on it, I'll assume it's not that much of an issue. There is basically no eq on the song yet, this is just a push mix. I don't generally EQ till I have all the final parts in place. I will keep all the EQ comments in mind when I go to actually mix the song, and most likely will re-post when the song is nearer to being done. I will check again to see if anyone picks up on what I am not liking. It might stand out more when there is a better mix, or maybe not.

I agree with most everyone but would add for me, I think the vocals are way too loud and the mix lacks real bottom end. Don't know about anyone else but after listening, the mix hurts the ears.
