Looking for comments on the Air Synth...

I have read about the Alesis Air Synth. I would be curious if anyone has used one and what it is like. The concept sounds interesting. And does it make its own sound, or does it just manipulate other sounds?

In the wake of the Alesis panic six months ago I purchased the air fx for only100.00, Ive used it and its alot of fun I like adding enviremental noises to some stuff and its good for that.
