Looking for a VST Compressor/Gate with Side Chain

Anybody know of a FREE VST Compressor and or Gate with a side chain ?

I don't know of a free one, but http://www.kjaerhusaudio.com/gold-series.php has one. A word of caution : unless your sequencer also supports side-chain channels, a VST supporting side-chain will be useless.

I dont know it Audition supports sidchain busses...Time to dig out the book..

I just found this. It creates a virtual sidechain.

It works in AA 2.0. Kind of cool using a tone with a kick...
You have to run the plug on the kick and the tone and link them together.
I did not see anything in the AA manual about sidechains.

As far as I know Audition does not support side-chaining out of the box.
But there are ways of doing it.

Reaper's Reacomp supposedly does sidechain quite well, but I don't know how well that feature would play in Audition: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/2670.html

ReaComp and ReaGate, since they were designed by actual audio engineers, of course contain sidechains.

If cool edit/audition doesn't allow sidechains, load up REAPER and put Audition in the right click item menu, this will give you your sidechains without giving up auditions unreal 2 track editing features
