Hello there everyone.
I'll go straight to the point. I have a side proyect where i decided I would love to make metal version of classic songs. I have started with "Losing my religion" by REM and it turned out somewhere a bit power metal but pretty tight and nice.
I have somehow found a problem: i can't sing. Really, i tried, believed me. Followed every advice and found that i really sound horrible on recording.
So, i wanted to try a different approach and search for someone who wanted to sing in my place.
Here are the terms:
- There is no money involved. Not for the singer, nor for me, nor for anyone. This is just for fun, and perhaps some popularity if you, like me, are a sociopath and tell everyone to see your song on youtube
What i need:
- Someone who, in their own home or studio, records the vocal track for "losing my religion" and then send me the whole track of vocals so that i can mixed it and master it into the song.
What i Have:
- A good idea of what i want.
- I already recorded the instruments ( Drums, bass, two guitars) so i can remix or change the mix as i need.
- some knowledge about fixing/mixing vocals.
What i am looking for:
- someone who can really sing. Doesn't matter if male or female.
- Someone who can record in good quality, doesn't have to be a studio, but don't record with a plastic headset.
What i am NOT looking for:
- Gutural singers. Death metal, much as i love those singers, are not what i am looking for.
- Opera singers.
If anyone is interested i'll send my mail and we can start talking recording.
