Looking for a Dynamic mic

First and foremost THIS IS NOT A POLL.

Im looking for a good MIC for Hard Rock Vocals with occasional screaming.

So if you don't like bands like Papa Roach, Shinedown, Haste the day, Drowning Pool, 30 seconds to Mars, Soil, Atreyu, Bullet for my Vallentine...........and you don't record or have used a mic for this kind of style................PLEASE DO NOT REPLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I have a shure SM57 as of now........but there has to be something you guys are using that is better than this mic for this genre..........Ive heard good things about the SM58 as well........But I am looking for something that is gonna be rock solid and really cut through the mix. Something tried and true by some fellow "Rockers"......... Max dollar amount will be around 300 bucks.
