Looking for a 1/4" 8 track. Do it.

I'm posting this here too as I'd like a Fostex R8 or something like it as I just need a recorder as I've already got a Tascam M-312 mixer. Everything but my current system (a 688, which is nice, but it's not what I want) is making me very happy. Archaic mics, nice board, tube amps and I need the 1/4" reel at the end. Someone clean out their closet and make me happy.

I have a Fostex R8 I might be willing to depart with. I am the second owner of the machine and I purchased it from a "very honest" guy who lives in
Colorado. About a year ago I had it completly gone through by a very reliable guy who did replace some capstans (I think that's what they're called) replaced the drive belt and cleaned it inside. He stated that it was in excellent condition. I have had it in the original box sitting in a clean dry room since last summer. I used a Carvin mixing board with it.
