Peavey ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got an email today from friend and fellow songwriter with whom I am putting together and acoustic set. He's taling a Shakespear class at the moment and wrote in shakespearian language. It was a simple "What's up? When are we jamming again?" email.
I thought you might find my response amusing. Here's what I wrote:
Once upon a Tuesday dreary
As I labored weak and weary
At computer screens with eyes so bleary
I ponder what I've done
For I was out so late last night
With a girl who's in my sights
'Twas an evening of sheer delight...
Now energy I have none.
For driving back from far Seattle
On Monday night it quite a battle
The morning after's brain so addled
But, oh! It was such fun!
The mind then turns to other things
Microphones and shiny strings...
A friend with whom I love to sing...
Recordings we have done...
Saturday is not the best for me
Though I could make it, possibly.
Friday night would give me glee
Or Thurday, if you come.
My endurance now I have tested
And promise to be better rested
Else my playing by yours will be bested
And of that I'll have none!!
I've been hanging out in this forum waaaaaaay too long.....
