The pair of SXP90's would be usable enough for some things, but that Behringer crap... that's gotta go!

Nah man, its cool you got your rack hooked up and seriously if it works for you, awesome.

But putting behringer and "pro" in the same category is definitely a no no

I think he got his idea of being PRO from the name of his Behringer gear...

Isn't that shiny multi effect piece of crap above the compressors called a "Virtualizer PRO DSP-1000"?? I should know... I got one FREE (seriously) with an order from a music company once.

I must admit that I've used it on some recordings...

Looks like one of my racks (which ain't sayin much!!)
Replace the Behringer gear and then it would be a REAL RACK!!

One of my racks contains,a Beh MultiCom,AutoCom & Composer,DSPPro1000,Beh's EDISON,Ultrabass,Feedback Destroyer,Lexicon MPX 500, ART 341 EQ, and God-forbid a 3630!
With the exception of the Lex & maybe the Composer, this particular rack of mine LOOKS impressive to the un-informed but it contains mid & below level gear similar to the pic in this thread!:(

As I read down through the list of Behringer gear you own... I started to weap... and then... and then... you said that word... 3630....

Oh there is much gnashing of teeth and tearing of garments!!

This is a sad sad day :(

Actually... I'll confess... I have a Behringer Multicomm and my DSP1000 :)

I also have an Alesis Micro verb, Alesis MEQ-231, Digitech GSP-21 and Digitech DSP-128 in my rack...

The REST of my gear is respectable :)

Though I did buy a 3630 when it was the only game in town so far as low cost compressors went :o :rolleyes:
 
I had concidered buying one way back when, but all the horror stories convinced me not to.
 
Way back when, in my case was when the only sources of information I had were books and magazines about recording and audio. All of which told me the 3630 was a fine piece of equipment.

That's just 1 of 4 racks of gear I own!
1 rack is what I call the Multi-Track Department which contains
my HD24, ADAT XT & LX, A Tascam CDRW700 & Onkyo CDR & Phillips 775 cd recorders, Signal rack #3 consists of a DMP3,RNC, Meek,Presonus,Art TPS and a TEAC dual cassette recorder.
The other racks consist of mostly every mid 2 upper level efx & modules,processors,blah,blah,blah,blah.................

My Behringer crap was purchased 3 1/2 years ago when Sam Ash was selling the Beh gear at 65-75% off STORE PRICE!!
At one point, I bought the MultiCom,AutoCom and DSP1000 brand new for total of $156!!!!!
Again, that rack is used for showin' and not blowin'!!!;) :) ;)
