Left channel is my vocal and acoustic gtr, R channel is a large group of 1st and 2nd graders. Overdubbed my elec gtr to the left channel afterwards. I recorded it with just two SM 57’s to stereo cassette tape a number of years ago.

Question: I’d like to reduce my own vocal and emphasize the kids and gtrs but can’t do it directly because my vocal and the guitars are both on the L channel. My more serious recording interest is in classical guitar, so I’m inexperienced at processing the sonorities here. If anybody has an idea of a crafty way to reduce the L channel vocal, keeping the guitar sounding OK, short of re-recording the guitars, I’m interested.

this is pretty cool, especially if you're a texan.

Thanks Travis, and thanks for not making any jokes about Pres Bush being a Texan. HA.

I'm from Arkansas, that so I would be in for it too....

Anybody heard this song done by the Beach Boys on their “Beach Boys Concert” live album? That's what influenced my arrangement of it. Think it was written in 1963 or so actually as a country western/comedy song.
