I just ran across the first article I've seen that mentions a specific month of availability and a price for the Logic Control surface: September 2001, just over $700 (799 Euro). Maybe it's speculation, I don't know. Here's the article. Since the controller is designed for Logic 5 obviously the software would be out around that time, too.
