Load Distribution

I'm in the process of reconfiguring my PC and I'd like to set it up so it'll run as efficiently as possible by distributing the load across my hard drives.

I have three separate hard drives available and I have heard that it is a good idea to put the paging file on another drive separate from the OS drive. So here's what I'm thinking....

Drive 1 (7200RPM): OS Drive
Drive 2 (7200RPM): Audio files (large drive)
Drive 3 (5400RPM): Paging file

This will spread out the load between the three drives....

So now I'm wondering if I should also install my applications on the drive with the paging file since I have a lot of RAM (2GB) and I doubt it'll be using this drive much (if at all) for paging. Or should I install them on the OS drive because it's a faster drive? Am I going to notice any significant increase in performance by spreading things out or should I just install the applications on the OS drive and be done with it? :D

Thanks,
