LM4 or recorded drums

Which should i go for?

What do you think i should use for a demo CD? I'll be looking to spend about the same on both (maybe a little more on recording) for a demo CD. The studio i'm thinking about looks fairly good ( http://www.ansonpro.com/ ) but i'll only be able to hire it for about 10 hours, looking to do 5-6 songs. If i get the LM4 then i can record as many tracks as i want with no rush and at home. What i would like to konw is how good are the samples on the LM4 compared to what i could expect from this studio. Obviously more info on the studio would be helpful but i dont have any right now. Also do the LM4 tracks come though the same as audio in the environment window in logic (im sure they do but just checking)
 
Do many people use the LM4? Was this the right channel to post it? May be i should have gone to cubase users or something?
 
Personally, I think the LM4 sucks. If your using Logic do have the EXS24.....I use it and load up some drum samples from quality sample CD's. Lay down my drum tracks with these samples via my alesis D5 and electric kit. It's hard to tell the difference from these samples and live drums. Really Sweet !!!

I dont have the EXS24, how difficult is it to use for someone who has no experience with samplers? How much is it? Can i just record midi in logic and use that with the sampler or will i need a midi keyboard?
 
I'm not in favour of the LM4 too, it's about the lamest excuse of a drum-machine plugin I've seen.

You can take a look at Battery from Native Instruments (http://www.native-instruments.com), they have a nice set of accoustic kits for it too for a very fair price.

Also the RM III from Linplug is very good and if you buy the Drum-studio pack from them you get some real good accoustic and other kits with it (50 kits total) for an awsome price.

I use both, the Battery kits are awesome but if you're on a budget, go for Linplug which is also one of the best drum plugins currently available.
