Rock Steady
sometimes I need the iron stuck to my finger to understand, maybe this is one of those times.
Using LSPro an audio track is created for the synth voice. The midi data is routed thru the virtual synth to voice it, but the data is recorded on the midi track and not on the audio track where the voice resides. On playback the data is again routed thru the virtual synth to voice it.
The question is "why can`t you arm the audio track and record it as a wav as an option instead of having to set up another audio track and recording the output there?"

You can bounce it t track, no need to record it. Go "Edit -> Bounce to track"... :)

As you understand, one of the reasons to use any MIDI synth is to create audio, combine this with a sequenser and you can play many synths at a time (you only got 2 two hands, you know ;)). And softsynths work just the same way. You need an extra audiotrack, so that the synth has somewhere to "put" the audio it produces.

ahhhhhhhhhh. I been so close to the horse I was sticking the bridle in the wrong end. :)
many thanks...

tried it and it works fine that way, I had 5 midi tracks, 1 audio, and 2 of the midi tracks were using one episode of Synth Pro. It bounced them to track as audio fine, I guess what had me stumped is in using LSP there is no data recorded on the track that its on, its on the midi track thats driving it. Anyways, i appreciate the help.

Moskus, i put a lil tune up over in mp3`s using LSP virtuals after i got back out of the ditch. Thanks for pulling my head out of the jar. :)

Why don't I see it? :(

"trying out LiveSynth" I hurridly put it together to see how it`d work. I went back and cleaned it up a little. I think I`m gonna keep it.

I can't find it! And none of your posts (I did a search) turned up with "trying out livesynth"...

Am I going blind?
