Live Synth Pro Alternative

Hi all

I am looking for an alternative to Live Synth Pro because at long last I decided to try it, and wish I had long ago. Unfortunately the plugin is a 30 day trial and LSP seems to be no longer in business.

I am aware that Vsampler can do the job but that is more like getting a crane to lift a beach bucket, and also there are crackles that I don't like.

I have tried sfz but it uses so much CPU resources that it gives up

So really I am looking for a good freeware or a shareware that I can test to make sure its absolutely what I want. I would appreciate it if anyone would know the location of such plugins please

Most of the good stuff you've got to pay for,maybe you could try a demo version of one of the other samplers.

I have Kompakt,which is very reasonable,and I've been very happy with it.You can import many different sample types,including sound fonts,add to that all the free samples on the web and you can hit the ground running.

With todays samplers it's the quality of the sample more than the sampler that will make the difference in your sound.
