Hey I have been looking for website to teach me the basics of live band mixing and sound. Can anyone give me some links for this type of thing? Thanks

I would be very interested in this as well if anybody knows of any. In the mean time, do what I did, guitarfreak12. Go to Amazon.com and do a search for "sound reinforcement" under their books section. Some good ones to buy there.

Buy a copy of the Yamaha Sound Reinforcement Handbook. It is the bible of live sound, and I do not know a single sound guy who does not own a copy. Well worth the money.

Just stay away from Mixerman's forum. They do not like newbee's there. You have been warned.

I will say that thet is pretty true. I read "don't, go get a local production company!!!" alllll the time. But their is a "pro" forum and a "newbie" kinda forum which seperates it a little.
