i went to a local show today and i saw a guy playing a controller plugged into his laptop and he was picking all the instruments from the laptop.no rack..
what program is he most likely using?

That pretty much covers most sequencing programs out there today. A few of the more popular would be Logic, Reaper, Cubase, Albeton Live....hell the list goes on.

Without more info than you're giving there's no way to know exactly what he was using...

well i was pretty much just trying to get some names of some programs that i can play live on with my controller.
