live 1024player with latency?please help!

Hello!
I have a soundblaster live 1024, in a pentium II 350Mhz with 128Mb ram.
When i record in fullduplex using cubase, the tracks stay in wrong
positions, and I have to "walk" with the track recorded and put in the
right position. I think the name is latency or syncronization!

Can you help me?

yes i think i can go to
audio > sytem >asio control panel>
advanced options
then klick on the input port it
should turn black meaning its selcted
then go to global setting sync referencemenu
and put it on sample position input
i've had the same problem but with this

Try changing your sample rate to 48kHz on that same menu. The soundblaster works internally at that rate and then has to convert it to 44.1kHz which could be what's causing your latency.
