Stay.

This place goes all slow sometimes, and then the problem gets remedied. If we send Dragon some money, it'll speed up I think. I'm serious - and I'm not being cynical or sarcastic. He needs this site to be drawn to his attention periodically and also for the exercise to have something worthwhile in it for him. He used to participate on the site, but since he's lost interest in that, there's gotta be something else in it for him. Money often works.

Money...? Dragon needs money ?
I though sacrifice like dumping a virgin in white into vulcano in Hawaii would keep him under...

Jees, now even lizard wants money... what a capitalist... Chick turns into Cheque... :D

And where do you think you head for small puppy ? You can log out anytime you like, but you just can never leave... ;)

Lessee, you can improve several important facets of your own life or...

...you can hang around here dispensing advice to the hopeless. Hmm....think, think, think.

For the sake of the forum, I hope you stay. Bless you LD!

Littledog:

Sit. Stay. Good boy, here's a biscuit.

:D

Couldn't resist, but "asking" in that way just doesn't bestow the respect to you that you deserve. We need more of your kind here -- patient, knowledgable -- otherwise the place might get overrun by puerile, inflamed nubs, forces of evil which may surface exponentially and fester upon the board like an ugly, oozing, pustuous rash.

What you can do is visit more infrequently ... as long as you keep your membership (does anyone really ever log off and cancel an account?) and enable getting PMs, that would even be a great service. Of course you're a free hound and may do as you wish. But I think what we're seeing here is, golly, people like you! :)

Hey LD, know what you mean about the "cold molasses" syndrome - this site has gotten ridiculously slow, and I'm trying to cut back without giving up completely as well.

Still, who'd catch my occasional brain farts if you didn't stick your head outa the kennel once in a while? (Sure, there'd be others, but they don't tell me I'm stupid in ANYWHERE NEAR as gentlemanly a manner as you)

Cut back, but don't cut out... Steve

Stick around man... Just set some limits for your self. Your post count has grown so fast it is amazing.

I'm here every day but I keep it down to around an hour or so. The wife needs some of my time too. I also pick my times like right now... She is watching Buffy the vampire slayer... I hate it and she wouldn't notice if I was in the same room. On the other hand if I run off while she is bored she can get pissy after a while.

Well anyway... Your knowledge has often been an assett (sp?) to me and I'd hate to loose ya.

F.S.

PS the board has sucked!!! lately....
It would be nice to know how much each of us would have to pony up to make a marked improvement??? It could be outside problems though. Hard to say!!

It's easier to talk cold turkey than to actually do it. I have managed to cut back a little, although the inability to access threads or respond to them may be as much to blame as any self-discipline.

But regardless, thanks for the outpouring of kind words. The affection is mutual, I assure you. If you must know, I think what nailed it, though, was the biscuit from geekgurl.

...and how come you be sure THAT was a biscuit ?

(consider the source, ...geek one)

:D
