"They're beating their swords into pens, the fools"
From Orwellian overtures to whimsy but even then with a dark underbelly. The world view of a pessimistic optimist?
Thanks for the lyrics fellows. A top read and illuminated the songs - not that the lyrics were indecipherable rather that my cryptography is unreliable.

LYRICS PLEASE.
Come on boys - There's some nice detail on the slick but I NEED to read.
Can you post the lyrics somewhere for bonafide owners to download?
I've been listening in the bedroom with a marantz CD player through a JVC quadraphonic amp into AR speaker & it sounds fabulous.
I'm listening right now - on the livingroom stereo, (the wife is out tonight) for the 1st time Marantz CD plkayer through a NAD amp into Bose speakers at volume. It sounds spectacular - much more space, clarity & depth.
The lyrics address such a range of topics & touch very deep waters as well - I have to have a good squiz.
On the track that just finished you fellows evoke the same haunting quality Harry Nilsson did on his ...Sings Newman LP.
I shan't go on but WOW.
By the way Ido1957's songs sound incredible as full audio files (wav.) on a good stereo - highly recommended - put some pressure on him to release something.

Just ordered my copy of LPC today....looking forward to an extended listen.
Incanus and Supercreep - Yours are some of the best tunes I've heard here or on the radio!

Thanks for the kind words on the tunes rayc - I've only had a couple chances to listen to my Pygmy Beat CD but it's hot. Lots more time now that I've done my weekly chores.

Now that I've tried to be a choir boy......

I feel the same way - .wav files make a world of listening difference. So much more flavor than the compressed versions. Brings out a lot of subtle nuances you haven't heard before.

BTW - the second version of Softdance is cool. And I was singing Mercedes #1 the whole time I was cutting the grass....

:D :) :D :)

The sign of a great hook: I was biking the other day for a few hours and the whole time "I'm alright.....you're alright...he's alright....but she don't care about me..." was all that was going through my head the whole time. The cool thing about it was that I hadn't even played the CD in 3 or 4 days, so it's not as if I just heard the tune. It was starting to drive me crazy, but I couldn't shake it.:D :D

Incanus / Supercreep - can you advise how you label your CD's and how you get the glossy paper for the insert? Professional printing job or DIY? (I'm still waiting for the CD but this question came up in RAMI's thread so I thought I would ask the pro's.... :D

We shipped them off for a small CD-R run with a full color insert. If there's pros in this thread, it's not us!! :o We used DiscMakers or DiscMaster or something.
