Yeah, same guys. Supercreep is going to post as soon as the CD is available. I'm just doing my best Reuben Kincade.

...My personal taste is a little heavier, I would have liked more songs to have the energy of "Shake Hands", but that's personal.

We aim to make the next record heavier and more complex - I hope you'll like it.

I`ve been playing it at my store, people think its great.

It's available at NotLame records

"Only available here and specially offered to Not Lamers, this band produced 12 song debut CD-R is filled with truly outstanding power pop that will appeal to fans of such recent faves as Checkpoint Charley, Getaway Car and older ones like Umajets(translation: there`s some Jellyfish influence in here) and . "Beautiful World" does the impossible mixing Randy Newman, Harry Nilsson with Wondermints and, yes, Jellyfish. "Everything You Read" is ambitious with its musical destination, while "Shake Hands" is about as classic of a depiction of modern-day power pop! While this is a debut and the band is clearly finding its grounding and artistic footing, Little Purple Circles asserts itself confidently on each of the trax here and harkens, not hinting, of great things to come while this mini-gem glitters on porch waiting to to bust through the door. Extremely Highly Recommended!"

Cool man, I might have to pick one up. "Miles Gone By" I forgot about that one. I'm one of those people who never really pay attention to lyrics of a song, but just the overall sounds... in fact I can listen to a song for years and never know what it's really about. But that song, I remember the lyrics catching me for some reason, good stuff :D

"Shake Hands" rocks too, love that riff and old school sound

That's a good review in your quote, Suprcreep. Yes, Harry Nillson and Randy newman. I didn't think of that, but I hear those influences now for sure.

We should probably update the Nowhere Radio page with some final mixes straight off the CD. (That's Supercreep's job).
HA! You're waiting on a drummer to get something done.

Maybe for this purpose, we should just consider him the singer!!!! (Not that that's any better!)

I'm happy now, I've just ordered my copy. Not Lame eh? Nice one.
Now I have something to look forward to after I return to work next week.

Just got my "Little Purple Cirlces" CD.

Those of you who know them know why I'm taking the time to actually start a thread about another band. They're heads and shoulders above anything I've ever heard from a so-called "un-signed" band.

For those who don't know them, you can check out a couple of their tunes HERE.

I don't know where the CD can be purchased, but as soon as I find out, I'll post it.

My favorite tune is "What you Were meant to be", though I might find another favorite after a few listens. I remember it being the first tune I ever heard here, and thinking "Whoah! I better go back to the drawing board". It wasn't very encouraging to hear this first time I clicked on a link in this place.

I love these guys, and they've also helped me with my own music more than they will ever realise.

I'll listen to this as soon as I finish playing with the bubble-rap!!! :D

Check 'em out!!!

Listening to Beautiful World from the linked page... Man, this is heady stuff!! (.."that's Headley..") Influences from The Beatles to Randy Newman and everywhere in between. So colorful, so textured, exuberant.. Hey, they are a Not Lame artist? a good friend of mine's band is with them, Barely Pink... You can order CDs from Not Lame's website... Hmm... :)

OK, read the rest of the thread now; it appears I've been redundant. :)
