Good stuff. Very unique sound. I find the drums can maybe use a cut in the low mids, they're a little boomy. Playing is tight and it's a cool tune. Good voice and singing, too.

Just wondering..what kind of genre would this be classified under? People ask me, and I hate to be like the other guys who say "well its a mix of everything", but I know most everyone says we sound like Dave Matthews.

I like the feel/sound of this ...interesting drums and cool guitar tone...is that a chorus on the guitar track?Sounds good.I really like the vocals...kinda reminds me of Greg Lake,only a bit more raw.Nice job.

Thanks a lot. I appreciate everything coming in. Someone had told me to use reverb on the intro, and compress the vocals. I'm willing to try anything. Would this work?

Yep. I use the V-AMP2 so he plays and i mess around with effects till re can agree on something most of the time.variaxman said:

Tough to give you a genre here - maybe prog rock. This is a good mix - I only heard a bit of the first and I think the second one is better - you've improved the drum sound.And you can't beat live drums man! You've got a very big sound coming out here - nice and full. Good playing and vocals.... Overall I think this is great!

thanks! I am grlad the second version made a difference. Being my own song, i still couldnt tell one version from another.
